Canon Type PFI-307 and PFI-707 ink jet cartridges are used in wide-format printers such as the 45 inch imagePROGRAF® iPF830, iPF840 and the iPF850, as well as their MFP counterparts.
Each printer uses five ink tanks, or cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow, black and matte black), one user-replaceable print head (PF-04) and one maintenance cartridge (MC-9 or MC-10). Standard yield cartridges contain 330ml of ink while high yield cartridges contain 700ml of ink. Printers ship with one complete set of supplies including standard yield cartridges.
Each ink cartridge requires a chip for correct printer operation.
